7:00am - I arrived at the embassy, and I got a ticket number 5015. I was called for finger printing,

Then there was a man who told me to go to window 14 for pre-screening. I was

lucky 'cause the gentleman was so nice. Maybe, it is because of my pregnancy.

Then he asked a few questions like, 'who is your petitioner?', 'how old are you?',

'when did we get married?', 'what other countries have you been?',

'when was he last in the Philippines?', then he asked about our pictures,

afterwards he instructed me to wait for my next call. A bit

later he called me back about my NBI clearance< and I gave him my new one.

7:45am - I was called at window 31 to be interviewed by the consul. But, I was curious

because there was somebody there since 7:00am for her

interview and is still waiting to be seen by the consul.

I approach the consul at window 31, and he was very nice. After

some pleasantries he asked me a some questions, 'what is your name?',

'who is your petitioner?, 'where does he live?,

'how many times did he visit you?', 'Do you have any kid(s) together?',

'were you married before?', 'can i see any

pictures of both of you?', 'is your husband a filipino?'. Then he said,

'ok, we will just make sure you were not married

before?', afterwards he said to have a seat and wait for my next call.

8:00am - I was called at window 37. He asked for the delbros receipt for document verification

then he gave me a form which looks like a list of things that they would need

from me but nothing was checked. Also, there was no mention of

anything I missed. He then handed me the appointment letter with

an attached pink slip. Then, I was directed to the delbros counter to pay the visa delivery fee.

As I was walking out, I was confused because the consul didn't mention that I was approved. I received no white slip. I asked around and everybody said that everything is ok for me. As i was about to exit, I asked the guard if my paperwork was ok, he then said, 'ok na po yan, hintayin nyo na lang ang visa nyo'. Hopefully everything is ok, but I will be assured when I have my visa is on hand. Good luck to all, hope this helps...

hi there maricor..i had my interview last jul 1. i was told the same thing, they wanna find out if i'm not married. they will wait for the document verification. i was given a white sheet of paper, when i read the first part of the paper it is the infamous 221g form. but in my form, "document verification" was written. they also didnt say i was approved. that's why i feel i'm hanging.

so i gues we're in the same boat. do you have that white paper with you? is it the 221g form?
