newguy- K3 interview in Naples question

greetings. I am a new here. I stumbled upon your site while researching visa info in preparation for an interview for my wife's K-3 visa in Naples, Italia. I have a lawyer in Texas who has been working the case. We filed both the I130 and 129F last July and have the K-3 interview scheduled this month.

Due to some prior "bad" experiences with teh US consulate Naples I am curious to your "expert" thoughts.

My first question is, can I go to the interview with my wife. I have been hearing different answers to this, even from the visa tip line in Italy. I would like to go for support.

My second question is along with the financial support documents I filled out, do we need the proof of "bonafides" now (and how much) or is that for the second joint stateside change of status interview?

any advice or thoughts are appreciated. In full disclosure I have read through the first 2 of 4 pages of the K-3 sticky thread and am just now searching other threads here, but I wanted to post this now for any thought or advice. I have downloaded the guides and am reading those as well.

Hi somewhatshameless bump and clarification. I have been reading through this site all day and various threads (it is a great site) but still have one question left.

Does anyone know if they will let me in with my spouse for her K-3 interview in Naples/Napoli? My lawyer says it depends on each consulate's policy.
