Last month,I went to submit an I-601 waiver for my fiance.They interviewed me and assured me that they had no doubts that our relationship was real.Now they say they want to interview my fiance by himself before they officialy submit the waiver.When I was down there,they led me to belive that they would submit the waiver,and in another year interview my fiance and tell him if he got the visa or not.Why do these people insisit on playing games ?

I understand the roller coaster you are going through, and yes it seems it is one hoop after another that you must jump through to get the visa. But please do not despair, remember you will get the visa within the very second that God has it planned for you. I know this is very true, my husband back in september 2007 did not get his visa, january 2008 was called back again, still no visa, then March 2008, still no visa. God-willing, he will get his visa soon. The thing is though, it begins to wear you down after a while, especially when you have waivers and or administraive processing. But there IS an end, and I want you to be thankful that they are doing this interview. At least it is SOMETHING. Believe me, not hearing from them drives you nuts, and at that point you pray for even a little call, and and intervew is great, they can clear up whatever kind of thing they have that is causing him to be delayed of a visa.

It is better they know him as a honest and good person now than to sit and wait until another year for the interivew.

I believe there are no accidents or mistakes in God's plan, so hang tight and be thankful for all of God's blessings. I promise you, your visa is coming soon, only a few hurdles left to go. Right now with all that is going on, security checks, high fraud rate, back logs, hurdles are to be expected. At least this interview will be a progress towards his visa.

Think if it this way - what if interviewing him actually leads them to make their decision earlier? It can happen that because he did well on the interview that he will get the visa faster.

No,I submitted it after they interviewed me and before they interviewed him for the second time.
