Hello,

At the interview stage, is it necessary to bring copies AND originals of all evidence of an ongoing relationship? I included a lot of evidence (no originals, just copies of everything) with the I-129F, so should I send my fiance all of the originals?

I'm going to visit my fiance in a week, and so I was just going to bring everything down to him instead of relying on the mail system. Thanks!

Caity

Each Consulate is different in what they require but many do want certain documents as Originals. Including your updated letter of intent.

if you're going down anyway it's really an easy decision. ;)

have fun

good point. Perhaps I just don't like the idea of giving him originals of letters he's written me and ticket stubs and whatnot- because I'm afraid he'll lose it :P I suppose I can cover my bases and just have copies here at home for myself just incase. thanks :)

I, too, was concerned about the CO keeping our cards and letters, I decided to bring just a few. But at the ended I was not asked to show them during the interview. I guess its better to have them just in case, but I don't think they keep them.
