I love it both ways. Its great alone or with lime, salt, and chili. As a matter of fact, I like to eat mangos and cucumbers that way too! Oh and Jicama! mmmmmmmm now I want some...time to go to the flea market! Oh and Corn is good like that too! :dance:

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

I love cantelope with prosciutto which is very salty....but I've never even heard of salt on watermelon...

I'd never heard of putting salt on melon until I moved to the US. Hubby and started digging into some water melon....i looked over at him and there he was with the salt shaker......I thought he was doing it as a joke.....but no....he was for real. NASTY! LOL

I've never tried...I do have watermelon here at home. Maybe I'll try it just to say I have, but I am not expecting to like it.

I have one too.. hmm maybe I should try salt on a little piece and see if I like it...

Ok, I tried it. It made the watermelon actually taste sweeter. But it's not something I would do because it seems to ruin that watermelon is healthy by putting salt all over it. :P And it's not big enough of a difference to me to add salt.

I did too...lol. I thought it made it juicier. Who knows. I kind of felt guilty doing it though. My husband likes pepper on his. Weirdo.
