Hello everyone! In some of my previous posts, some of you mentioned a shortcut that cuts out about a month of wait time before the NVC receives the case. If anyone knows how this works, please share! I just need to know how or if there are any guides that have been posted before. Also, does it work for all the visas? I have a K3. Just received my NOA2 yesterday. thanks for all your help, all of you are so helpful and helping me maintain my sanity!! LOL.

The shorcuts only work for CR1/IR1 visas since those are the ones that have to be processed at the NVC and can take up to 3-4 months. K3 visas only last a few weeks at the NVC while they assign them a case # and send them to the embassy.

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

if you are K3 applicant and received noticed of action2 wait in few days till NVC done checking your documents and forwarded them to your consulate office then be ready primary and other documents you needed in your interview. Goodluck :dance:

Here is a link that will get you the information. If you decide to follow the CR1, this will get you through the NVC in 4 to 6 weeks. Most people who are agressive and have all of their paperwork together average 4 weeks.
