I would use petitioner as the choice of agent, instead of beneficiary. So that petitioner living in US can mail out all your paper work and avoid any mail delays…hope this helps…good luck

Yes, even i would suggest to appoint the petitioner as your choice of agent.. That helps to narrow your mail delays and if questions may occur (hope not) than petitioner may resolve it from here..

Good Luck on your immgration process..

hi Kirsta,

I am in the same boat as you. My I-130 was approved on June 16th aswell. I see on your timeline that you have generated to AOS bill and sent in DOS 3032?? How do I go on about doing that? Do I need to wait until I receive a mail from NVC or can I start the process on my own. Pleasee advise.. your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, my case is CR1, i just want to ask if is it okay to use for awhile my maiden name? instead of my married name yet? i cant procced the renewal of my passport yet since my ob told me to have a bed rest and i am no longer allowed to go on a trip to Manila, i am 31 weeks preganant as of now. I heard that DS-230 requires copy of passport and it should be in my married name already. Hope to hear from all of you.

Thank you

Assigning petioner as your agent will be very helpfull if you already set with your paperwork in foreign country..communication between your agent and nvc will become easier for nvc.
