So what are everyone's plans for the 4th? This is our first 4th of July here together. We have one of the biggest parades around, and as much as i don't like the parade, all the people, trouble parking, rude people, I thought it would be nice for my husband to see what it is like here to see a big parade.

And then after we will probaby stay home, or we are invited to a cookout at a local bar i go to on occassion and even tho he don't drink, he don't mind goin with me now and then. So then in the evening we will go see the fireworks close to our home. It will be a nice day providing the weather stays nice.

My husband is in Egypt, so I'll probably just study and try to find a good movie on tv  I don't like holidays without my habibbi.

We're going to a pool party and grilling/chilling, then hubby has to work at midnite  We'll be skipping the fireworks downtown - toooooo many people! Besides, hubby will probably be napping around that time before reporting for duty.

I love love love fireworks. but I think this year we may have to sit them out or just see what we can from our patio because baby is really alarmed at loud noises, sometimes even the vacuum sets her off. I dont want to go to all the trouble of getting there, parking, finding a spot, etc just to have it end immediately in a scene. oh well, it will pass by next year I hope :) We'll probably go to a cookout/swimming at a friends first. My son is away at camp which is a shame because normally he and Adnan have a great time lighting the little cheesy fireworks in the street. well, next year for that too I guess ........

My husband has told me he wants to go to JUMAH on Friday. I tried to tell him that maybe there will not be alot of people there but I will let him figure that stuff out for himself.

We missed JUMAH last week and it was a big story.
