Medical - Vaccine list

I have just been to see the nurse at the doctors about my Vaccines i need for the medical. She has had to request my paper notes to see which ones i have already have. Think that we have figured out i only need the MMR, which isn't too bad. But i i asked her about a print off of what vaccines i have had, she said not possible as its included within all my medical history so would include everything i have ever visited the doctors for. So what should i take to prove what vaccines i have already had? She wrote them out on a plain sheet of paper, but surely the medical people won't just accept this. I tried to ask about getting them typed up on headed paper and she wasn't very impressed.

Also my 4 year old daughter needs several vaccines, Hep B being one! Now does she need to have completed the course before the medical which will take 6 months or just the 1st one? The nurse is going to charge me for the Hep B £30.00 a jab and 3 are needed! With her vaccines is her red book proof of what she has had or do i need a print out or typed list of those too?

The nurse at my GP practice kindly typed up the two injections with the batch number details that she gave me and then stamped it with the practice stamp and signed it - all free of charge bless her! My Mum had managed to locate all of the original notification slips with details of my vaccination history but they didn't use this information at the medical and instead merely indicated that the other vaccinations listed were not age appropriate.

The red book should be fine provided it notes the batch numbers of the vaccines given, which if memory serves it should.

Good luck ^_^

Oh, and you aren't required to complete vaccinations for the medical but you must do so before adjustment of status, so if the course is not yet completed at the medical they will merely note that to be the case.

Hi Mrssmith,

Your daugher will only need the 1st injection, maybe 2nd one depending when you have medical (as long as it is up to date). For my daughter's medical I took the red book and the doctor was happy with that. (F)

My doctor got it typed up but I paid £20 for the priviledge!
