ok....so i have a little bit of trouble with answering some questions on form DS 156...

Obviously this is a non-immigrant form and since the K1 visa is somewhere in the middle of immigrant and non-immigrant...i am not sure which would be the right answer to these questions:

26. How long do you intend to stay in the US (should i put always and forever?...lol)

27. What is the purpose of your trip? (getting married and live happilly ever after???)

28. Do you intend to work in the US (if YES give name of employer) ... (of course i intend to work...but don't know employer yet...)

36. Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf? (should i put YES-fiance, or NO, since K1 is not actually immigrant visa????)

Thank you!!!!!

Up at the top of the page, see Example Forms below the search box. There's a DS-156 with some good answers.

Hehehe, actually, I did put all of those answers done on my form (except for the last one)! I said 'yes, employer to be decided' to 28. I thought it was kind of silly but you are right, the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa. For the last question, I put 'no' as my fiance's petition for the I-129f was not for an immigrant visa.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
