Hi everyone!

I feel so sad coz I called the USEM to inquire about my case then the operator acknowledge that my case is already in there system. But he informed me that I just have to call back after 2 weeks to schedule for an interview and to wait for the packet.

I answered him that my husband got a letter from NVC with the case number itself (well, I got the case number few days before the letter of NVC arrived) but still he insisted call back after 2 weeks.

Does everyone in here got the packet? And do I really have to wait for that packet?

I read in here before that it would be a lot better if the petitioner will be the one to call the USEM. Could anything enlighten my mind?

My case was sent to USEM by the NVC last June 24, 2008.

Thank you everyone. (this is my very first post....hope this will work)

Irene

 Congratulations on your approval... You are almost done with all this crazynes.... That is great...

I downloaded packet 3 and 4 online and then prepared all documents they required, not only but such as medical exam, financial support forms, DS 230, originals docs and copies etc... Then I called the embassy and told them I already had both packets ready what they could do to speed up... be persistent, since everyone calls them to rush their case they are very used to brushing people off...

in my case we got email from USCIS that i got NOA2 and i have to wait till NVC forwarded my documents to USEM but i didnt wait for that i asked my husband to call NVC for us to know our MNLcase# after i got the number i called USEM and schedule my interview. Operator didn't ask me for my packet cause they told me that there's no packet no more.

after i set up my interview the operator gave me sequence of number as a confirmation and he added that his going to send me an email and i have to print this email for my medical and interview.

so if they told u that your case in their system then u can schedule your interview by then.

i have question are u approved in both application u sent to USCIS? i mean 130 and 129f?

Strike till the IRON is HOT

Thanks Gurl!

Yes, my I-130 petition was approved May 5, 2008 then my I-129F was approved last June 13, 2008 (it was a little delayed coz of RFE.

Actually, I got our case number from NVC for the I-129F coz I called them then they gave it to me and the operator said that they sent our case to USEM last June 24, 2008.

So, guess I have to call them again.
