Hi All,

I have my interview coming up in 2 two months, and had the document checklist enclosing along with my apt. letter.

I was wondering how important was to have the tax transcripyt with you at the interview, do they as for it right away or ... please let me know if anyone was asked about them at his interview.

Thanks in advance,

My experience is, if you bring all of your original documents, and let them know you have them, they don't want to see them. If you don't, they will want to see them.

Hello,

I had my interview on June 26 and they did not ask me to show taxes, but I had all the documents with me and I asked IO if he needs any updated documents. Since my N-400 was based on 3 year marriage to my husband and my I-751 was pending, he asked me for some new bills, bank statements and etc. to show that we are still living together. I have him gas, electrical, phone and bank statements ( about 2 of each). He did not however look at them and he just filed them.

I would take all the documents they ask for if you want to have smooth interview. Tax transcripts arrive in about a week so you have plenty of time.

Good luck.
