It was almost like Christmas today, after all the uncertainty about if they would ever touch those forms again, they approved both the I129F and I130 at the same time!!! I was jumping around everywhere lol...Now, I have to ask, for those of you who have gotten through most of the process, about how long does it take to get the interview at this point? What is usually the next step, I haven't yet received the instructions for what is to happen, have not received the hard copies of the approvals, just the email notice that they are sending the letter. YAY...and I wish you all to have the same luck!!!!!!!!!! :dance:

coongratulations!!! :thumbs: :thumbs: :dance: :dance: about 3 months normally it goes to the consulate.. so about 4 months until interview??.. also depends on factors like AP or country too... :thumbs:

I-130 STAGE 1 : 533 days - 1 year 6 months (4/16/2007 to 9/22/2008)

Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)

You don't have to wait for the hardcopy of NOA2. You can pay online and print coversheet online too.

Look up the fast NVC process posted by Lotofpatience on this board, some people were able to get out of NVC in 4-6 weeks following the steps!
