What kind of business license do you think you may need to get if indeed Mthe venture takes off and Maria compensates with with cash?

No cash. Free hotel room, dinner out with friends, but no cash. Oftentimes, cash spoils things between friends. I prefer not to ask her business partners for money.

Seriously Ken, I don't see the problem with a real place in the partnership if you are adding value. If you are the go-to-guy in the US for the business, you should at least get an occasional plane ticket comped, no?

 $$$ sours things between friends. I'd say dinner and a place to stay is the way to keep it at this point.

And - as you can see these posts are not just from Ken, his followers interject their questions, assumptions and feelings about his conquest(s) throughout. Some are encouraging of his adventures, others are disbelievers and some just want clarification and keep their thoughts to themselves.
