You're absolutely correct about that photo not actually being Maria. I don't want to use any of Maria's images until she is ready to, "Go Live" with her agency. Maria has been a completely integral part of this thread. When I became frustrated with Onelis' lack of response, failing to pay to turn on her telephone, not checking her email, etc., I spoke with a 'Colombia Club' member named 'Carl'.

'Carl' pointed me in the direction of a woman in Barranquilla who facilitated his paperwork with his fiance. Maria took the time out to actually hunt down Onelis, and ask her several candid questions - which in hindsight, she lied about, but nonetheless, Maria did the inital footwork when I first asked the simple questions, "Where did she go?"

I now consider Maria to be a friend. Not just a 'Facebook' friend, but a real friend. I plan to visit Maria and her family over the Christmas holidays, as well as Leidys and to also meet Leidys' family - and have some one on one time with her father. I am very happy to be working for Maria in the capacity that I will be explaining to potential clients the kind of work she does, how efficient she is, and my impressions of Northern Colombia.

Thanks everyone for your interest in this thread. It was such an adventure - to do something like this, come home, and live to tell about it.

To the naysayers of this thread - that I really did not travel to Colombia, that this was all ficticious, I have the travel stamps on my passport, and all the documentation to prove where I was when this thread was in its' initial stages in middle of July...

I know. I had time to fly to England, hop on board a cruiseship in Venice, fly from Barcelona to London to visit the queen (unfortunately, my luggage did not make the same trip), fly back to the US, have a major fight with my husband, kiss and make up, drive to Myrtle Beach for a week with the in-laws, and drive back..... and the thing's still going on. When I left I had offered my condolences and support in hoping he would find his fiancée. When I came back he was fukcing every female making new friends in Barranquilla. Great pictures though.

What kind of business license do you think you may need to get if indeed Mthe venture takes off and Maria compensates with with cash?
