Scroll back. I knew that when I left for Barranquilla, it was to either hear that we were breaking up, or to get passports and paperwork completed to get Packet 3 taken care of. While I didn't expect to hear from Onelis that we would break up, I did have to prepare myself for it.

And prepare I did!

While in Barranquilla, I didn't want anything to do with anyone there. Thats why I blew off Blanca (from the restaurant) and Viviana (Toñio's sister). My buddies were all telling me to, "Pull out - come home a.s.a.p.!" I still didn't have my luggage, so I was wearing stuff I bought at Miami International Airport.

The only person in town that I could talk to that spoke my language, lived briefly in my area, that I felt connected with was Maria. She worked for a couple of Matchmaking agencies, and she told me to just make the best of my trip. To take things in stride, but enjoy myself. So, I took her advice - and I'm glad I did. So, I blew off Onelis and her sister and made all new friends.LOL

Personally, I don't believe she has a right to be jealous about anything. Sure, she wanted to hang out and hook up while I was in town, but this was to hit the best spots without having to pay for anything. No, I'm not down for that.
