It's so sad to see the end of a relationship being so trivialized....

The thing I'm not getting is what she's furious about She dumped the guy...

I'm realizing that I wasn't really dumped. Onelis wanted to come here to visit, to see what everything here was like. However, she also told me, she didn't want to be the only, "Costeña" or Woman from the Coast here in this country. She wanted to see me like we weren't separated, but there wouldn't be any official label like "girlfriend/boyfriend" or "Fiancee" like there had been in the past.

It just felt like I was going to become a future "Meal Ticket" and that's not what I am looking for in a SO. That's when I decided it better to cut my losses and move on...quickly. At this point, I have absolutely no regrets. I learned a lesson, I have a new friend, and my Spanish has opened all kinds of doors for me at work and in my personal life.

I see my travels throughout Latin America to have been a major growing experience that have completely changed my life. So, no regrets whatsoever.

Ken, no offense...but almost a month with no contact...you were dumped.

If I were dumped, I would not have received an email describing how I am a "Womanizer" with no morals. I would not have had this "instant girlfriend" on my arm the day the above photo was taken either. I tested the waters, and I couldn't figure out exactly what was going on. When she found out I started to see someone else, she went crazy. I have the emails this week to prove it. Either she wasn't sane, or she's unstable, or who knows...

Sounds like that kevlar you are wearing in the sig pics will be a necessary fashion statement when you go back. Just remember to keep the door locked while sleeping.

I thought the swimming dolphins on my shirt would summon the "Good vibes" fairy? When I go back, I will let the staff at the hotel know who to look out for, and to kick her butt out if she comes around.
