Busy as all get-out. Work is jumpin', and Vika and I have been gone nearly every weekend. I forgot how much time it takes to whip a patio into shape (our small patio = three days with furniture and grill). Also, new car shopping is the pits - but the lease was up

Yes but the big problem out here is the deer tick. Lots of Lyme disease.

With the help of a Barranquilla-based Matrimony Agency owner (named Maria), I was able to actually hear from Onelis. I later dropped in on Onelis to hear from her exactly what was going on. Onelis and I broke up the day I got into town. A few days later, I went on some dates with Leidys (pictured below w/me) and we hit it off. The rest is history.

I initially made contact with Blanca upon my first evening in Barranquilla.

As I waited for a bottle of ketchup from the waitress, the restaurant was robbed. The contents inside of Blanca's purse were removed - her Identification, cash were gone.

Ken I stumbled across this thread again and of course was drawn to catch up, little did I realise what sadness you have had recently, I am sorry for your loss. But congratulations on starting your new journey, and wishing you every happiness.

Little do we know how our words may impact on someone else, but a recent trip to Colombia and a wonderful visit to Cartagena, was in some ways as a consequence of reading your description of your trips
