On Sunday afternoon, we did a little shopping in the downtown area, since I would have to leave on Monday at 5 p.m. Leidys and I walked up to Murillo Blvd., and to my old haunt - Hotel Caribbean Gold.

Inside restaurante Los Tonneles, I looked for a familiar face. Ah, it was one of the bell hops who cornered the crazy thief - terrorizing Blanca and Betty. Neither of the two are employed by the hotel anymore. The Bellhop now worked as the waiter in place of Betty. Azacias was one of the guys that worked alongside of me when we got the young guy who stole from Blanca and Betty that fate-filled evening in Barranquilla. At the end of my trip in July, Azacias told me that I should have offered to marry Blanca instead of Leidys - Blanca looking up in my eyes as if I would reconsider my love for Leidys.

Yes all great information but Im supposed to get married in Barranquilla.. Crazy how dangerous it seems down there with the local populace. I also heard that the FARC plans on terrorizing more urban populations and cities to celebrate their anniversary for some of their leaders deaths in March. Why does this have to happen on the month I am supposed to get married lol.

So - what is the time frame here Ken? We understand about pics and vital stats and info, but tell us what the future looks like, and when? What about the next trip? Enquiring minds, etc., etc.

I want to start preparing our paperwork right away. It took this long, however to dbl check on our relationship, knowing this is the right decision I am making. Meeting her family was integral to everything. Knowing I would be talking to and visiting these people for years and decades to come, I know it had better be a good fit. I'm easy to get along with, I don't make crazy demands, so Leidys knows she's not dealing with a complicated gringo.

The way things are down in Colombia, it is no joke nor exaggeration. I just want to keep Leidys as anonymous as possible.
