I just noticed the same thing

what up Ken?

I produced a video on Saturday with my friends in the desert. Projects like that have kept me busy and having fun with the guys. Next, I am producing a mix tape of Jesus' music that he produced all summer long. The production work will take all of Friday night, into Saturday afternoon, but I can't wait to hear the music over the Los Toneles Restaurant system!:dance::dance:

Here is my video from Saturday in the sweltering winter heat of 1/31/09

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Plaza de la Cerveza - Barranquilla, Colombia

DSC07308.JPG

Almost 1 year ago, I spent an evening on Murillo Blvd. with Onelis, her little sister Estefanie, and Onelis' former co-worker Jaime (center). By July, the relationship had completely soured between Onelis and I. Her father (Julio) was in shock over the fact that after roughly 1 year, we had broken up. I let him know it wasn't my decision, but that he deserved to know the truth. Despite this, Onelis' last words to me that if she knew who I started dating, she would, "Find her and beat her down." Not exactly what you would expect to hear from someone so sweet, and uncomplicated. But, this has me on alert. La noche de Guarnacherna is a popular event where locals from all over town show up.

Should Onels appear out of thin air next Friday night - picking us out of the crowd there in town, what could happen to Leidys?

American music is hard to come by in a country where most people don't speak English. After a night on Murillo Blvd. at club Tormenta w/Onelis & Estefanie in Barranquilla in Nov.'07, I took a taxi back to my hotel, and around the corner from all the night clubs was this house party with a live DJ playing what else? Death Metal. That was the only oddity I ever encountered - some 50 kids all dressed in black, sitting around on a dark street with music blasting - probably from Europe or North America, I never expected this.

Leidys is dying to hear some American rock music, so with a couple of DVD-Rs and plenty of MP3s I downloaded, I figure she'll like; Paramore, Akon, Killswitch Engage, Kanye West, System of a Down, ay-Z, etc.

Downtown Barranquilla has loads of Snoop Doggy Dogg MP3s for sale, but I didn't see very much interesting American music the 4x I have been there. If you don't know what is available, how will you know what is good? The same is true with Latin music in our country. Ricky Martin and Cristian Castro aren't the best examples of Latin music, IMO.
