May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.

ok, I'll admit it. this whole process (the lovely immigration journey) turned me in a disturbed person. has to be. if i read 114 pages of thread. before this, i was never a fan of forums or bloggs or whatever. was only checking on some forums where ppl post opinions on books, movies, some new play at the theatre, etc. and now i surprise myself with reading the 114 colombian adventure. being late at the party (maybe after party is over) isnt such a bad thing, as i can have an outside opinion on what has been going on in here. sharing what I think about onelis versus leydis, whom should ken pick, what should Ken do next would be meaningless, as is his life and he knows best. besides, we only have his side of story. but the wars in here...the thread to die, the thread to live on forever...only question that comes in my head is whats the purpose of that? I mean why should anyone be bothered by other ppl having their chit-chat in here and have a good time with it. they all have their lives, and besides that, they keep in touch in here, crack jokes, have fun, etc. is not an obsession a life goal or a fun club. is simple intenet entertainment. ppl comunicating. no why would anyone come and get so mad about it? and wish it to stop. how does this affects their lives? internet is full of stuff that might bother u. u just dont look to it, and stick with whats on yr taste. is about options. same as tv, music genders, movies, books, food, etc. but to see some ppl went through all this immigration $####, finally brought their spouses home with them and yet they have nothing better to do but read some thread and take it personal, start a war over to make it stop, is really really sad. guess some of the imported hubbies dont do their job, if wives r all over here acting hysterical about some ppl listening the stories of Ken. if they r real or made up doesnt even matter. if they r real, good for Ken. he is 40, and has chosen not to sit home complain how sad and empty life is, how is already over, after a marriage went bad and next love affair turning to be not what he expected, but instead hes making plans, does other things, didnt lose his faith in love, human kindness, etc. now for someone who is unhappy and doesnt do anything to change it, that might sound like a fairytale, and theyd say is all fantasy. and if is unreal, or is artisticaly improved on details, still good for ken. he has the talent to see good things everywhere, fantasyse, and further more dragging other's interest in his stories.

for those whod be bothered a newcomer resurecting the thread, i only have one thing to say. spend more time in bedroom.

NVC received and assigned case number for both: 18 dec 2008

(break in the process- Lee comes to spend holidays here 22 dec-5th jan 2009)

DS 3032 generated :? ?

DS 3032 sent : 26 dec 2008 (friend sends it, based on how fast Ds-3032 was generated for Sracastillo and others who had same NOA2 date as me-risky, but worked)

received AOS package and IIN number in mail : 29 dec 2008 (same friend picks up mail and sends us the IIN)

pay the AOS bill online: 29 dec 2008

AOS shows as PAID: 30 dec 2008

my husband goes back and bags with our papers get lost : 5th jan 2009

package IV fee bill generated and paid online: 7th jan 2009

recieved bags and papers: 9th jan 2009

sent AOS package: 9th jan 2009

package IV bill shows PAID and sending package IV : 12 jan 2009

case complete: jan 20th

interview march 30th 2009

I129F

NVC mails I129F package to bucharest embasy

up to this day, no package received at embasy here -one more reason to prove in my case I129F was just useless
