Thank you everyone for your interest in this thread which spawned an adventure here on VisaJourney

Here is a quick summary of **everything** which took place.

1. NOA2 arrived, and my fiancee disappeared. She didn't pay her telephone bill **on purpose** because she didn't want to talk. She didn't want to talk, because she had, "Second Thoughts."

2. Carl of VisaJourney's "Colombia Club" told me about a woman named, "Maria." Maria is able to locate Onelis. Onelis tells Maria that she is, "In Love with me - wants to get married, etc."

3. On my first night in town, she decided we should, "Just be (kissing) friends." End of VisaJourney with Onelis.

4. In a state of shock, I call Maria who tells me to, "Look up new chicas on-line for some dating action."

5. Onelis feels regrets & becomes upset that I'm not on the phone begging for her affection. Instead, I'm out having a great time w/new "friend".

6. Onelis gets aggressive, we hook up one last time, but I kick it to the curb.

7. From the field of possibilities, I choose Leidys - my new friend and all-around Colombian Hottie.

8. Onelis tries to "tear down whats left" by writing nonsensical emails, calls me a "Womanizer", etc.

9. I return to USA. 1 month later, I become sick, doctors tell me I might have a fatal heart defect, or possibly worse. Death looks like a real possiblilty.

10. 2 months pass since July 11th. Leidys is still crazy about me returning in December. Doctors realize I'm 98% healthy & not near-death like previously suspected. Happy endings now become a possibility.

After getting to know Leidys, I also feel the same way. I'll post an update in early January to let everyone know how it went in Barranquilla during the Christmas/New Years holidays.

Also, I will not let Onelis know anything about my impending visit. Hopefully, we won't run into her or her sister while out on the town each day. In fact, I have not heard a word from Onelis since August 1st. I'd like to keep it that way.
