Well they sort of worked over thanksgiving. If someone could add me to the list that would be great!

Date of sending I-751 - 11/13/08

Date of NOA - 11/17/08

Biometrics Date - 12/13/08

forgot to add myself to this list could someone do it for me i usually stuff these kinda lists up somehow ..lol

my details are below..was approved on 1st dec my 1st greencard was through california without interview...

I have read some others are getting touches after their biometrics. I am just wondering why mine has no touches till this date. I had my biometrics last 26th of September...is this common?

Case online status is still last August 21, 2008 - case received and pending. Is this common too? Does it take them so long to update USCIS online status lately?

i feel sorry for my aussie mate in n.y she is going through vermont and applied 6 months before me...it is so unfair that they cannot keep up...

My daughter's case status has not updated since 08/12/08 which was 4 days after she completed her biometrics. No touches either. What you are seeing is normal.

To be honest with you I don't know what system they use to update the on-line case status; my wife's N-400 application was never updated even after her interview approval and naturalization ceremony!

Of course I am hoping we can semi-bypass this whole I-751 ####### tomorrow by applying for Carina's US passport (see timelines below) but it sure would be nice to have the 10 year GC too after paying for it.

And so we wait...all of us.

Seems like CSC is on vacation already =)... Question for you, I noticed that you had touches...My case online with uscis is still on the same date they received my packet, is that common? I'm just wondering I don't get those touches you know.

Hey there,

It actually is quite common for the date not to change. I noticed it was touched the day after biometrics so I figured they were just putting it in the system or something. Some people get approved without any touches, there's no rhyme or reason for anything in this process lol. I'd say after six months (thats what CSC is saying as there timeline of approvas) of no touches you're concerned, give em a call

I think they are in idle mode since the current president is a caretaker till January and during such times the bureaucracy comes to a standstill.
