Hi, I have a question....

I am on social security for disability, I know disability is OK and that it counts as income for the I-134. If the amount I receive is added to the savings I have I am over the poverty level, to be safe I also have a co-sponsor who's income (even though it is a mix of social security for disability and annuity) is also above the poverty level.

It all sounds good but I am still worried. We are dealing with China and I have heard horror stories that even though both the sponsor and I are above the poverty level, the consulate in China usually automatically denies people on disability. I have heard about one case where the visa was denied purely because of the disability (even though he and co-sponsor were above poverty level). Do you know if this is true? Since all of mine and half of my co-sponsor's income is from disability do we really have any chance? And is there anything else we can do? Thanks if you can comment!
