Can my wife travel with her passport being in her maiden name and her new docs (SS card, AP, EAD, green card, etc) being in her new name. Does she need to have the marriage certificate each time she flies?

Will she have to change her passport right away or can she wait until she renews to change the name?

Does she buy the airline ticket under her new name or maiden name?

Anything else we should know about?

Thanks.

The airline tickets need to be booked in the same name as the passport. I've never had a problem, myself. I always carry my marriage license just in case, though. She can wait to change her name in her passport when she renews. Unless her country allows for an addendum. You'd need to check their policy.
