This is really off-topic but I just want to inform all Pag-Ibig members in here that we are entitled to claim our accumulated contributions through the Pag-Ibig Provident Savings Benefit program as we're permanently leaving the Philippines.

My mom was the one who gave me this information. The requirements are as follows -

Duly accomplished Provident Benefit Form

NSO Birth Certificate

NSO Marriage Certificate (if married)

Certificate of Employment (from previous and current employers)

Special Power of Attorney (Pag-Ibig Form, should be notarized) - if you're unable to claim it

Sworn Declaration for Permanent Departure (Pag-Ibig Form, should be notarized)

Passport and Immigrant Visa

Certificate of Loan Amortization (only if you have an existing or previous loan)

I was told by the Pag-Ibig representative that the reimbursements will be available after 5 - 22 working days upon filing. Please ask your current/last employer on what branch they remit your monthly contributions as this is the same branch where you'll submit and file your Provident Benefit claim.

Check this link for additional information on the process - http://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/sp_optional.htm

Sayang din yan kaya claim nyo na

hey guys - sorry to ruin your excitement but i was told by the pag-ibig representative that i'll not be able to claim my refund not until i give them a copy of my greencard as this will certify my immigrant status in the US (i came here on K3 which is a non-immigrant visa). i also brought with me my notarized special power of attorney as well as the other requirements they need because it needs to be authenticated by the philippine consulate in here as soon as i get my GC. i'll just send it to my sister who will claim the reimbursement on my behalf.

for immigrant visa holders, you can claim this ASAP.
