What is the quickiest way to get married here in Chicago, Illinois?

Hey guys,

I am already here in Chicago and allowed to stay til September 26. My fiance and I are thinking of getting married this weekend but not sure how. Can you help us please? I am gonna research again online but I think your answers here are way better. Thank you very much.

Cook's County Clerk's office. You need to apply for a marriage licence ($35), amd after 24 hours you can get married in front of the judge (no appointment necessary).

Cook's County Clerk's office. You need to apply for a marriage licence ($35), amd after 24 hours you can get married in front of the judge (no appointment necessary).

Hi thanks for the reply we got our marriage license yesterday and we'll try to find a judge to marry us today or at least before the end of the week. By the way, I got here last Saturday, tried to get my SSN yesterday but unfortunately immigration haven't verified my papers yet. The lady told us to come back after 10 working days...

ask the county clerk. some (at least here) perform marriages on the weekends as a side business. the county clerk referred us to one who performed the ceremony. cost was i think $100.
