Kyiv Medical Interview Question

Hello Everyone,

I am happy to say that we are scheduled for our interview in Kyiv on July 21, but I have a question about what we will need to present at the medical exam. Specifically my question is about the KEV case number. The information that I received from the embassy document indicates that we only need to present the KEV case number (see below),

Each applicant must present the following documentation:

• Passport or other photo-bearing document as ID (both for children and adults)

• 3 full frontal view photographs 50 x 50 mm

• Military service card

• Vaccination chart with the seal of the issuing clinic (mandatory for immigrants, optional for K visa applicants)

Embassy case number beginning with KEV

however when we called the Clinic for Oil-Refining Industry of Ukraine to make an appointment for the medical exam the receptionist told us that we must have a document that shows the KEV case number.

The problem is that I did not receive a document from the NVC with the case number so I had to call them and get the number by phone. I am now in Europe so I don't think that I can get this document from the NVC in time for the interview.

My question is, did those of you who have completed the medical exam have to show some specific document with the KEV case number to be admitted to the exam? If a document is necessary, does anyone have ideas about how I could get one before July 17? Thanks for you help with this.

Grid,

Don't worry about it. If you have KEV number, that's what you need. I didn't have any of those and had my medical done no problem. Just don't forget to call them beforehand to schedule the appointment.

Good luck for the interview! You must be super excited :) !!

Hi Thanks for your post, after reading this i am going to scan the document i got from NVC and e-mail it to Ekaterina. JUST IN CASE!! ya never know what arbitrary rules may apply day by day.so did you receive a letter from NVC stating "we have received an approved petition for I-129f" from the NVC? we are K-3 but still received an approval letter from NVC with NVC number beginning in KEV. if you did simply scan it and e-mail it to your finacee. problem solved and better safe than sorry. :)
