When my EAD was approved, I did see an immediate update on my case status online. I did not see the same for my AP so when I called USCIS, I was informed that some times, there's a backlog in updating their system, even as long as four months. In my case, my AP was unknowingly approved even before my EAD was approved. So, I won't rely too much on the Case Status Online. Unless it's unusually taking longer than others' cases, just wait. It's always a nice surprise receiving good news in your mailbox :-) Good luck.

Just like everything else with USCIS, it's unexplianable and pretty much luck of the draw.

We sent my wife's AOS on July 23rd and on Aug 2nd (NOA's received), all 3 applications (485, 765, 131) were in the system.

Go figure.

I was able to view my case online way before biometrics appt.As soon as I received my MSC #'s I was

able to create my profile and add my receipt #'s.So it varies I suppose ,keep trying though.
