CHICKEN DILEMMA:

Ok so I went to the butchery this past weekend and stocked up on marinated steak tips and chicken breasts since it's grillin season baby! :dance::dance::dance:

here's the dilemma - last night I made cajun marinated chicken and it was kind of weird 'cause hubby kept looking at me strange while I was cutting the chicken up and putting it on the grill. Then when it came time to eat he ate the rice, the salad and the green beans but didn't touch the chicken. :unsure:

I said, "do you like the chicken?" and he had this weirdo look on his face and *gingerly* cut it up and put it in his mouth. I went back to watching the news and after a while he said, "honey I have to tell you something..............I donnot like this chicken".

Well this was suprising considering he puts 1/2 a bottle of tabasco sauce on all the other types of chicken I make so I figured cajun would be right up his alley. He went on and on about how he cannot get out of his head how big this chicken was and how much I had to cut it and what do they feed this chicken here and how do they get it so big, etc. etc. etc. He actually tried to visualize how big the actual chicken must have been in real life before it went to the butchery!!!

He did NOT eat the rest of it which soooo isn't like him since he believes it's sunnah to finish your plate. He's afraid of this leftover chicken because he thinks that it's like a super chicken or something...i dunno. :wacko::wacko::wacko:

So..........I'll toss the leftovers...of which there's a LOT but now I'm freaked out about it and I have to wonder....what DO these butchery type places feed these freakin' chickens to make their breasts so HUGE?

:unsure::unsure::unsure:

Other thoughts I had last night since he got me thinking:

1) do people who work at restaurants for a living order take out?

2) are there turkeys in Turkey and are they like ours?

3) do the James Bond movies have the most number of sequels?

I had more but that's all I remember. I need a mountain dew refill.

OMGGGGGGGGGGG this is sooo funny doods. My husband also refuses to eat chicken here. I usually keep my freezer stocked with cornish game hen because that is more the size he is used to. However they don't taste good in stews, you can't really boil it. If you do it changes the texture dramatically.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

U see, the way around that is to buy chicken breast tenders. That way they can't see how big the actual breast was to begin with and all is well with the world :yes:

Ok I did some searching and I guess it all depends on a few factors like 1) what is the definition of a sequel, and 2) are we talking porn or non-porn or tv or movie.

Anyways from what I gather of the non-porn movies Godzilla is #1 with 28 and James Bond is #2 with 22 I think.

:idea: THAT's why he had that look on his face!!!! I always buy the huge bag of frozen chicken tenders from Cotsco so that's what he's always seen me cook and then I pull out the chicken hulk and he's all ####### about it. LOL. Thanks AMAL!!!! Maybe I"ll try to get the girls to distract him when I cut up the lemon pepper chicken I have in the freezer. Tonight it's steak tips I guess but I have to wonder if he thinks they come from mini-cows or something. :lol:
