Thankful Tuesday in Mena-land

JP...when i was lookin to snack i would cut up apples, strawberries, and grapes and toss some strawberry yogurt on it...it would hold me over and it tasted fantastic

That sounds good an I have all that at home.

Im going to Boston Market tonight...I need a turkey dinner. But I have to stop at the grocery store first and buy a can of cranberry sauce in a can...jellied. I have no clue why I am craving gravy so badly today.

Ya know...I am the fattest person you will ever see with an eating disorder. Today, I had coffee and a bagel w/creme cheese. Thats all. Just a bagel and coffee. I worked, I measured, I came home...and here I sit. I have no urge or desire to eat. None.

Now as a rational adult, I see this as not good. But in my head, I don't think I could eat a thing. Will this go away?

First off Aimee, have a safe trip and I will be praying for you and Badr. Palilover have a safe trip also and I do hope this is almost over for you and your love.

Rajaa, congrats on the hubby's work visa to Spain. I pray he has a safe trip and enjoys his work there.

I am very thankful for my husband and children. My husband is an extremely patient man and I will never be able to thank him enough for the sacrifices he has made to be with myself and our son. He is always there when I need him whether it is for a laugh to brighten my day or a shoulder to cry on when things are going wrong. My children are God's blessings! They have been through a lot in their little lives and I am so thankful that they have taken to their new step father. I am thankful for our health and I pray that good health continues. I am thankful for our home because we still have a place to lay our heads at night. I am also thankful for my job because without it I have no idea where in the world I would be financially or emotionally because I am blessed to work with wonderful people. I am also thankful for my parents whom to me are heroes. They are raising my sister's two very young children because of the way she chose her life and without my parents the girls wouldn't have stability.

I am thankful for the night I had with my daughter. We did those snake firework thingys and the smell of them brought back great memories from when I was a kid on the 4th of July. We did sparklers and those snap firecrackers. She danced around with the sparklers and as I watched her there were lightning bugs flying around too and it was such a perfect middle-of-the-summer kind of night.

I am thankful my husband FINALLY bought mine and Joshua's plane tickets and i can OFFICIALLY say we are going to Lebanon July 12th!!!!!!! lots to do, and it feels like even more on no sleep. off to wake the little man up for his last bottle of the night and then hopefully ill get a few hours of sleep.
