Hi, I have a question. I am in the process of becoming a US citizen and wanted to know if:

Should I marry my fiance in my country and then start the process for a visa K-3 or bring him with a k-1. The only thing I am looking for is for the time not to be too long. I miss him so much.

Is it ok after I married to start with a k-3 as soon as I become a citizen?

There is no "K3 petition". As an LPR, you may file an I-130 for your spouse but it will not be acted upon until you become a US Citizen. At that point, you may first upgrade your I-130 petition and if you wish, file an I-129F for spouse that would result in a K3 visa if successful. You may well be better off, just sticking with the I-130 and an immigrant visa. (CR1 or IR1 depending on how long you've been married by that time)

I am not sure how soon you will become a citizen, but if it's within a month of two, I would wait for you to become a citizen and then file for a K-1, if speed is what you are looking for. Just m point of view.
