The Surprise I Found At Home

About a month or so i told i rescued a cute little kitty at the farmers market, looked all hungry and all was real friendly. Brought her home and she actually has turned out to be real good.

Well i got home today and the dog acted like she was trying to show and tell me something, got to looking and seems Miss Lilly the sweet kitty forgot to inform me she had been stepping out on the town before i got her.

Her secret well hidden, today she presented me with 3 cute little kittens that will be so sad now to never know who there father was.

Im afraid in a city this size we might out last Maury in the search, hopefully they wont be to influenced by their mothers behavoir in the past and after some counseling (at the vet) she will provide to be a good model for their up bringing and teach them the ways

She was a stray when i brought her home could kinda see her ribs and she did like to eat. I was just telling her this morning look at the little belly ha....i had no idea..i was just thinking to start calling the vet and see when i could get her fixed (not knowing her age) , the little run around, she surprised me...she seems so far like a good mom in feeding them. The dog keeps wanting to take a peak and cant figure out whre they came from

Aww - congratulations! Since it happened before you met her, it may not be so drastic as you think - it could just be another 'love and leave 'em' Tom who sweet-talked her into a one-night stand in spite of herself!

Enjoy the kittens - they are treasures and lots of fun. (I took the stray who has been living on our back porch to the vets last week because she was developing a round tummy too - turns out she is just enjoying good food as she appears to have been spayed already. Phew !)

seems she is going to be a good mom, she even let the dog finally take a sniff and peak, all is well so far and i hope she learned her lesson to not play that game of love em and leave em

OMG I know how that feels, my sister's cat gave birth on my bed while I was still in it!!!!!!!!!!

It haunts me till this day, the smell, the sounds ewwwww

you're a superstar brnidokiegurl. There is a special place in heaven for people who take in strays and treat them as their own.

She shares a similar story to our Kaya. We took her in for a "couple" of days until we could find her owner. She was emaciated to say the least. Suddenly she started packing on the pounds and then gave birth to a wonderful litter of kitties. Needless to say, its 6 years later and we're no longer looking for the owners.
