I decided to break off my engagement prior to my ex coming to USA. Well somehow she made it here to the States with a friend of her's that went through the same issues with medical as mine did prior. I know what area she is in and even the address of her friend. However I am unsure what to do at this point. I cannot seem to get anywhere with INS. I really do not want to have her any issues, I just want my name removed from her.

Two questions---- Can she stay here and marry another man as I believe this is how she got here by another man's support after we broke up? I have no problems with this as long as I am not held accountable for her now.

Second question is, who do I contact to let them know she should return as I am not marrying her and that she may have come here under false pretense, if she in fact did. I know she is here with our K1.

Thanks to everyone that assistied us during this lenghty process. Good luck to those awaiting.

Shawn

She cannot come here on your approved petition and adjust status with the assistance of a different USC... If she does not marry you after 90 days then she is "out of status". Even if you submitted an I-134, the chances of you becoming accountable for her at this stage are viirtually nil. Bottom line... she really is not your issue....

YMMV
