I cant believe I didnt notice but the initial 1-29 document has marked that I am in fact married. This document was prepared and submitted by my lawyer who is "Helping" us through this. It was approved by the DHS and every other instance does indicate that I am in fact single.

She had the interview last week and the lady questioned it but seemed to understand that it was an error. She has since turned in her passport along with the passport police certificate (Missing at the interview) She has been told that in as soon as 72 hours and not longer than 2 weeks she will have her passport returned to her-with or without the visa. Im worried that this will bite us and am curious if youd recommend attempting to contact somebody? Or since she got thru the interview should I assume all is well??

Thanks,

Jason

Taking her passport is a good sign. If they were going to deny the visa her passport would have been returned to her.

If you think the CO understood that it was a mistake then I would not worry about it. Just wait to see what happens. If and when you need to, then you can decide who you need to contact.
