Just a Suggestion ~ What do you all think of meeting up at a nice hotel since we're traveling some distance? We could relax, swim and meet up for lunch or dinner B)

Henna Rose: Have not heard from you or the other muslim girl if September is out since it's Ramadan. If you could get back to us about that then we can narrow things down. When is Olivia back? I'm thinking next to last weekend in August if that works for everyone, or 2nd weekend in Sept if Ramadan is not an issue.

Hey Samantha. I'm in Renton. I work in Kirkland. Know where Houghton is?

Oooh. Second weekend in September is also my birthday weekend. That would be cool :)

Maggie, since you are far more organized than I, you have just been nominated Mistress Organizer of the Event.....

I was just trying to get this thing going!! Ok as Mistress Organizer, I tried to find the prayer times for Ramadan so I could set a time after sundown. Can't find one. If anyone has a time, that would be great. Otherwise I'm thinking Saturday (2nd weekend in Sept) 7pm ish? By the time we get situated and order drinks, it should be sundown, don't you think? Opinions please. Then we will select location next.

Technically I am not in Seattle - but I am shipping my stuff to Hawaii from that port in mid-September. If I'm around when this is planned, I'm crashing the party from Edmonton. :hehe:

Seriously - Jundp if its a Monday, you're my partner for beer and trivia.

Jundp.. wow we are almost birthday buddies.. hehe . I am .. Sep 12.. ..

My daughter and myself would love to come up .. better for us if it is Saturday.. I think I deserve a lil trip for my birthday..

Since we will be driving up from Portland.. and we would like to say.. go into Seattle to visit Pikes.. we just need to find a low cost motel.. we were thinking of doing train. . but.. if we train it.. we would not have a way to connect with people for the visit..

Either way.. I am really looking forward to a small break...

I did like the idea that someone tossed around concerning . Merikesh?

I dont know alot of the area.. so if we can make it easy.. more the better.. ..

keep me posted please.. if there is a pm. .list for information.. please add me to the list..

as far as I know.. Jan will not be here by then.. he is possibly getting here by November .. on way to Canada.. where he will work with his client and some product expo's..
