I am getting so excited to come meet some VJ peeps!!! Sorry I don't know many MENA "outsiders" cuz I usually hang there, but I recognize a few screen names.

As for henna - I suck at it, but I have some henna I could bring if someone artistic will be around and wanting to do it. I brought a bunch back from Morocco but haven't used it.

mostly I hang out in OT... since Jan and I haven't filed yet.. I don't fit anywhere..lol.. but that doesn't mean that.. I don't have same concerns..

Well I hang out in the yardie thread for the most part so I don't know anyone all that well either Sounds like we are all in a similar boat. I am sure once the little bit of awkwardness rubs off we will all be going on like old friends I am getting so excited.

For over 20 people: They want a $100 non refundable deposit in case we don't show. We can cancel up to 48hrs ahead.

Donations for the cause would be great too. To be given back at the dinner, by Maggie724.

It's an entire meal/entertainment experience. Make sure you take a look at the website in advance so you know how the menu is set up and pricing. The menu includes appetizer, main dish, soup I think and a dessert/mint tea for one price. I'm not sure about doing anything a la carte. It is not far from downtown Seattle so those of you that are touring around, we can see if there's anything we all want to do and maybe meet up early.

Day Tours some people are going on: Underground Tour (meeting at 12pm in Pioneer Square); Pike Place (Meeting about 3pm near the fish market on the main level); 4:30pm Space Needle (meet at base) 6pm Duck Tour (meet up at 5:45 to load up and buy additional tickets)

Just got home from work.. picked up .. my VOUCHER for my flight.. whoo hooo...

counting the days...

will call tomorrow for reservations... whooohooo..

HMMM.. they did the appraisal on my car.. .. funny for a 1994 chrysler.. only 120000 miles.. blue book. or loss amount for the car.. = 2200.. ..

go figure... the damage to my car.. = 1988.10 .. if she added anything else she would have had to total the car.. thus putting the title as salvage.. augh.. so instead of.. car salvage.. of a loss.. 2200 payoff.. less deductable of $200.. then.. salvage fee.. giving a take home amont of.. 2200-200-300=1700... I am being given ..whoo hoo.. 1988 less ded. of 200 ..= 1788. and a clean title.. whoo hoo... and .. ya know.. car doesnt really even look that bad.. hahaha.

My trip to NY a couple of weeks ago was delayed by 4 hours due to mechanical problems. When the plane was finally fixed and ready to roll, the pilot came on saying "Ok, we're gonna fly this plane like we stole it!"

LMFAO! I hope we have the same pilot for our flight. This will be butterball's first flight, so I hope its a quickie. Ive been flying since I was 5 and this is the first time Im actually nervous.

Glad to hear that pilots still have a sense of humor.

Gabi: Since you are coming SWA you have a chance of getting the same flight crew we did one time. We were about 40min late taking off and the guy came on and said 'We HAVE to do the emergency talk, so do you want the short version or the long version?" The people of course said short. He proceded to talk like one of those ad guys at the end of a commercial who talk so fast you get about every 4th word! "Ok folks tighten your seatbelts. If the masks drop use them. If the emergency doors open, jump on the slide. Have a nice flight." He was done in about 30 seconds with the ENTIRE speech, and away we went.

Oh goodness I forgot about the count and the call I have to all Saturday afternoon so I will go with whatever is on the list. I'm talking to a few potentials and will ask them to get me an answer by then. Looks like we might hit a firm 35. And with out of staters!! (remember those commericals about how you can tell when your insurance company is an out of stater because they pronounce yakima ya KIE ma?? or Puyallup Pile up??? )

awwwwww nice of you to think of us but for me to far but for sure we will know if you (talk) about us ears will be burning pls keep it nice...(except you can say anything u want about charles)...take few pictures so we can see and enjoy your party with each other...

Ok we have people coming from TX and LA and you can't make it because it's too far??

Maybe we can add you to the call list with the others who wanted to make it but can't. We are going to call them while in session so they will feel included.
