only a couple times a year so when it appears we run and jump and roll.... than back into our caves we go. :yes:

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

We're in Seattle, too. I know there are others out there.

We've been here a year and love it.

Summer 2001--we met in Manzanillo, Mexico

10/02--129F submitted (We had 1 RFE)

7/03--Interview in Ciudad Juarez

2/15/04--Married

4/2/04--AOS submitted

8/23/04--Interview in Chula Vista, CA (approved pending name check)

5 EADs, 3 APs, multiple Senators' inquiries and infopass appts, 2 AOS biometrics,

and one move to Seattle later...

3/3/08--AOS Biometrics renewal in Seattle

6/9/08--10 year green card arrived in the mail. My husband is no longer in immigration limbo and is a realio, trulio permanent resident! It says he's been a resident since 04/17/2008.

1/17/11--Apply for Citizenship

I hope it's not too hot on August 1, because my wedding dress has velvet on it and the wedding's outside. :lol:

We're in Seattle, too. I know there are others out there.

We've been here a year and love it.

Ok so I'm thinking mid-September for a get-together? Still nice enough outside that maybe we can do it on a weekend at a park or something, especially if many of us have kids.

What do others think? We can bat some ideas around until we sort something out.

Other than the 1st of Aug, which sounds a little occupied :P we are free at this point. I'll keep checking back to see what is decided. I know a few other Seattlelites from vj that I will let know once we nail down a date. I have met them both in person.

You're only about 2 1/2 hours, right? That's a nice drive. We could always meet in Tacoma if there are people that aren't right in Seattle. I'm cool with that.

It's not like I don't have a million things to plan for the wedding, work, and school, but hey this is fun :)
