No worries.. Still looking forward to it... ...

I can be fun too hahah.. just got to warm up a bit..

sorry for the earlier.. rattle....

Not that this is a excuse... or anything. but.. was just a bit on edge.. my close friend woke up this morning to find her husband dead next to her.. evidently he died while sleeping.. they think massive heart attack.. .. he just turned 60.. went to doctors the other day.. said he was in good health.. but just had a bit elevated blood pressure.. .. .. nothing that was a flag to dying.. ..

we just never know.. when our time is up do we...

It makes me sooo sad.. cause... when I need my honey here.. he isnt... .. then things like this makes me worry.. will he ever get here..... aughhhh

Things are better now.. talked to Janak.. just another thing that is a cultural difference.. He's Hindi.. I was raised Catholic.. he cant understand why they are not doing the funural today.. I told him they are chosing not to do a funural... actually she is Wica.. and he is non religous.. for us here .. culturally .. we cry.. be with friends.. need love.. and support from friends.. .. for him.. they bury.. and.. stay all day.. then move on... at least that is my impression from how he says..

maybe i just need a good drink... .... and relax

I'm sorry to hear the news JanaknJanet. I always take loss hard as well. Its funny you mention the stiff drink coz one of our family traditions after a funeral is we all get drunk together. :P

Only a few have added names lately. It seems there are some that said they would be there early on but have not been back to post since we started the list. It will come together. Even 20 is a nice gathering. Maybe Olivia will be able to keep up with all the names. :P

Janet: One thing I have learned is that folks here like to stir the pot, sometimes for real, sometimes in good fun. If you see the laughing faces :lol::rofl: or the tongue :P it's usually a good sign that things are in fun. Don't worry. Come to the dinner. Me and Olivia will be nice to you even if Len is not. B) And I think jundp is gentle too. Steve might bite...I'd watch out for him. :P

You aren't supposed to tell anyone, it will ruin the suprise. :innocent:

Actually, right now I am alone and going crazy. But my wife will be here in about three weeks. So she can keep me in my place. :thumbs:

HMMm any ideas what kind of yummie drinks will be at the dinner place..... got to have the Birthday Toast... OHG... i will be celebrating my augh.. 47 bd... just glad to not be doing it alone..

I'll be celebrating 37....and Len, aren't you celebrating a birthday then too?

FYI Yazz said she will be at the gathering but she doesn't know for sure about her hubby. I didn't cut/paste/quote because i'm doing this one handed. Went to dr today for really bad tennis elbow and am in brace and sling :(
