Our I-130 was approved in May and at the beginning of June my husband sent back his checklist and DS-230. Since then, nothing. Timelines for spousal DCF from London indicate 3 weeks turnaround and I'm starting to worry. Should we resubmit, or is there a way to get status? USCIS online status barfs at our case number, which is worrying me (even though it is copied directly from the letter they sent us with packet 3). Also (tiny chance but worth asking) we just got back from vacation (this is why I'm panicking since I was expecting it would come while we were gone) and we have a special delivery letter to pick up--does London ever send special delivery? I've only ever gotten first class or SMS.

I'm starting to get worried and if there's just some way to get more information, anything, it would be a huge help. thanks!

We're in the same situation and it appears the same stage. We mailed our checklist on June 6th and received Packet 4 on June 27th. Ours came standard First Class mail.

If it makes you feel any better about the wait, our interview date is for July 9th...less then 2 weeks after receiving Packet 4.

The USCIS online status thing is for NON-DCF cases. As a DCFer, we're special (which really just means we have no way of checking on anything). :P

Did you mail by regular first class? I wouldn't worry yet. I would check the actual mailing date and four weeks from that date, call the embassy if you haven't received packet 4.

We sent ours by... #######, I can't remember what it's called anymore! :P But it meant we could look up delivery confirmation online. If you did the same, check if there's delivery confirmation. If there isn't, then I would worry and call the embassy tomorrow rather than waiting.

Regular first class. I was afraid to send Special because they need to sign. OK, I'll try calling tomorrow. I thought that online status might not work for DCF cases.

I'm just having a minor panic because we didn't renew our lease (thinking we have plenty of time) and came home today to no letter and a notice to quit!
