I don't know if their is a big emphasis on e-mail and phone records. As I was reading through the post interview experience I haven't seen anybody saying they where asked to show the e-mail/phone record ….. this info is very crucial if you are applying for a K-1 fiancé visa but for CR-1/IR-1 … I don't know … I am planning of screen printing the inbox page that list all the emails received form the spouse ….

Humm I see, that is a good idea, thank you anish and lijy!! I might do that as well.

Fathima is lot relaxed and whenever I try to increase her heart-beats, it never happens :star:

She was shopping at Chennai with her mom yesterday... They are going to Marina beach ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_Beach ) today and going to my friend's home for lunch tomorrow... Completely freeking out there... In between, I will keep her reminding "AR" (Administrative Review). Then she will reply, she'll hang inside the consulate if they give her "AR". So, my consolation will be like this: it is not AR, it is CR (Conditional Residence) :rofl:

LOTO, question. Do you know if the consulate will put a visa in the passport with the sealed envelop they hand out for the applicant?? Or is just the sealed envelope? Right now I can't think straight!

Hyd, that's social security number application form. It has to be completed by your husband and give to VFS/Consulate. I believe my wife carried to the consulate. Print it out 2 copies and give one to VFS and carry the second to the consulate (F)

Virginia, it would be good one email per week in your case. There may be a printable view link somewhere on the page to take the print out.

I don't think you should postpone your interview just for 2007 tax return docs. You have all other documents such as joint property doc, letters, emails, photos etc. He has filed I-864 and consulate will have that original too, so that will have 2007 tax details too.

LOTOOO tonight our time is fathimas interview!!!! i woke up this morning thinkin how anxious u must be and u prob wont sleep alllllllll nightt!!

im so exctied for you. may Allah swt make this very easy and smooth for yall , ameen..

and everyone else inthis thread good luckkkk our time has finallyy come

loto i bought my ticket already got it for 2100 (prices r going up fast) lol

but its worth it, anyhting to see my husband

and best part is we get to travel back together inshallah

5-13-08-mailed AOS i864 packet w/printed cover sheet from online payment (certified mail- priority)

5-15-08-AOS packet received by NVC

5-18-08 iv FEE bill invoiced

5-18-08 iv fee $400 paid online

5-20-08-iv fee cleared, able to print covr shet online

5-21-08-mailed DS230 packet to NVC via priority mail

5-29-08 aos ACCEPTED

5-29-08- DS 230 entered in system

6-3-08-cse cmplte.

6-11-08 case left NVC to chennai via DHL

6-16-08 case reached chennai

7-2-08 appt letter received by beneficiary

7-4-08 medical done in chennai

7-28-08 interview- AP for 4-6 weeks (awaiting name chk clearance-told by chenai operator)

8-20-08 chennai forwarded file to DOS- according to inquiry from congressmans office

(also confirmed by DOS)

8-28-08 file reached DOS- told by operator

9-2-08- last update to case,told by DOS

12-12-08 emailed chennai embassy asking status of our case, and got email to send passport..

12-15-08 submitted passport to vfs

12-19-08 VISA ISSUED! in hand!

12-25-08 hubbys arrival! smooth POE!

1-16-09 green card arrives

1-27-09 SSN card in mail
