:unsure:not u personally, but do many people in us smoke weed?

I've heard that per capita more people smoke weed in the US than the Netherlands. And it's pretty much legal over their.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Oh brother. I can't believe how many people want to bring weed legal, and don't even think about their kids or children raising up. What a sad world.

not because it's available means everybody will abuse it.. I grew up with alcoholic relatives, yes, I drink but I'm not an alkie like them, my dad has always had a sh!tload of bottles at home, and I never ever stole one, or had an everyday drink or get drunk behind his back... so, the availability of drugs doesn't mean people will abuse it.

in that case, alcohol should have more restrictions, how many kids are beaten by alcoholic parents everyday.. and do you see any punishment or chastising to alcohol? no..

IMO, alcohol hurts more people than weed does.. I don't see why weed is so satanized, but alcohol and tobacco is ok..

Are you serious? Yes, the point being is that not everyone abuses it. But, I will turn that statement around and say ALOT of people abuse it.

Alcoholism is not the same as weed consumption. Cannot be tied together.

I find that people who consume weed have a problem understanding, or comprehending reality.

Your opinion is not accurate. You cannot use opinion to run the world. What, you want to make another drug legal?

and alcoholics are smart and sharp everyday?? hahaha

have you ever seen an alkie with delirium tremens?? excuse me, but alcohol is not as innocent as you think..

have you ever seen a pothead beating his son or wife? a tragic car accident caused by weed?

look for statistics, that's not my opinion

The problem with smoking weed is that it is illegal. Opinion has little to do with it. Being the last of 8 children I can assure you that I have had the opportunity in my life to experiment with a variety of drugs. I quit all of them prior to my 18 birthday. Have never looked back. I also drank quite a lot in my early 20's. Given a choice I would vote to legalize marijuana long before promoting alcohol or many other illegal drugs (including several legal ones). But I also recommend not purposely inhaling smoke and carbon monoxide.

To say that "consumers of weed" as you put it have a problem understanding or comprehending reality is your opinion and I argue that it is highly inaccurate. If you think that opinion is not used to run the world I advise you to carefully study how it is that our President makes his decisions. They are based on his opinions and his beliefs of right and wrong. If his decisions were based on fact then I would have little problem with his choices. I often wonder if he doesn't do a line or two prior to a cabinet meeting.

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensedregistered pharmacist". (because somebody gives a damn)

It is a matter of getting correct information from someone who is qualified, and that doesn’t mean someone drinking a case of beer watching NAS car. Alcohol is one deadly drug that kills and manes every year. Most first degree murders usually involve alcohol, you go in just knowing this, I have never ever seen any violent crime just from someone smoking a joint. But seen plenty of people drunk on alcohol, slaughter either with their car, or guns laying around the house, and when you get high levels of alcohol in your system things can go south pretty fast. This is what makes it hard for a dying cancer patient to get marijuana, so they suffer, and give up the chemo. Ignorance does kill. If anything make alcohol illegal that would not be a problem with me, but we know from history that probation doesn't do much good. It is about making money, if you read the history of illegal drugs, they don't make things illegal just to protect you, sometimes they do it to increase profits off things that are legal. Americans have got to stop being sheep and educated ourselves. Government don't give a damn about your safety, that is too funny. :bonk:

Yeah it's better to drink and have your kids scared sh!tless wondering every day what mood you'll be in depending on if you're hungover or a bad drunk. Kids would rather be beaten and yelled at by alcoholics than have parents that cook wicked cool munchies and laugh a lot.
