Agreed about the alcohol thing, having grown up with an alcoholic Mother who did downright DANGEROUS stuff with me in tow. Would have MUCH rather she be stoned.

I was a HUGE pot smoker in Jr. high and high school, getting high two and three times a day every day.......until it started making me really paranoid......I quit doing it my Senior year.

I can say firsthand it does make you pretty unmotivated, at least when you do it as much as I used to.

The year I quit I went from F student to honor roll...LOL

And that is the difference I'm talking about. I think the majority of pot smokers are NOT doing it multiple times a day. To the people I know who have done/or do partake, it's a once in awhile, bit of relaxation, the same way a glass of wine might be an unwinder for someone else.

Everything in moderation.....for sure.

The occasional toke, no big deal.....I can't do it though...makes me paranoid and anxiety ridden.

It almost seems that some ardent anti-pot-smoking folks are more paranoid about pot than the paranoia smokers may experience when they are smoking.... hmmmm

Everything in moderation.

Do not let your activities adversely effect the lives of others.

etc. etc.

I believe there is room in this world to let people live their lives as they wish provided that their lifestyle does no harm to others.

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensedregistered pharmacist". (because somebody gives a damn)

bottom line, it's illegal so do it and you're commiting a crime. It's one thing experimenting it when you're young, or even smoke it a lot when you're a teenager and don't know better. But an adult, grow up.

That is funny how? I guess you don't know any alcoholics...

(unless you think the spelling mistake is hilarious...that could be it)

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Oh brother. I can't believe how many people want to bring weed legal, and don't even think about their kids or children raising up. What a sad world.

Yeah it's better to drink and have your kids scared sh!tless wondering every day what mood you'll be in depending on if you're hungover or a bad drunk. Kids would rather be beaten and yelled at by alcoholics than have parents that cook wicked cool munchies and laugh a lot.

PWNED!!

Oh brother. I can't believe how many people want to bring weed legal, and don't even think about their kids or children raising up. What a sad world.

not because it's available means everybody will abuse it.. I grew up with alcoholic relatives, yes, I drink but I'm not an alkie like them, my dad has always had a sh!tload of bottles at home, and I never ever stole one, or had an everyday drink or get drunk behind his back... so, the availability of drugs doesn't mean people will abuse it.

in that case, alcohol should have more restrictions, how many kids are beaten by alcoholic parents everyday.. and do you see any punishment or chastising to alcohol? no..

IMO, alcohol hurts more people than weed does.. I don't see why weed is so satanized, but alcohol and tobacco is ok..

Are you serious? Yes, the point being is that not everyone abuses it. But, I will turn that statement around and say ALOT of people abuse it.

Alcoholism is not the same as weed consumption. Cannot be tied together.

I find that people who consume weed have a problem understanding, or comprehending reality.

Your opinion is not accurate. You cannot use opinion to run the world. What, you want to make another drug legal?

and alcoholics are smart and sharp everyday?? hahaha

have you ever seen an alkie with delirium tremens?? excuse me, but alcohol is not as innocent as you think..

have you ever seen a pothead beating his son or wife? a tragic car accident caused by weed?

look for statistics, that's not my opinion

Pedro pretty much sums up the equivalence aspect of the reality of these two forms of intoxicating oneself.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

alcohol doesn't kill people, just like guns don't.
