supplemental report of place of birth

Hi! I went to the Department of Foreign Affairs to apply for a passport. (I lined up as early as 1 a.m.). Anyway, when I finally got to the document verification stage, the DFA officer told me that my place of birth should read, "greenhills, mandaluyong, metro manila" instead of just "greenhills, metro manila" and that I should file a supplementary place of birth report in the mandaluyong city hall and have it certified at the NSO.

We're pursuing both the IR1 and the k3, whichever makes it first to the embassy and I will be sending the documents to my husband. I was just wondering if I should submit my birth certificate and the supplemental report to the National Visa Center (when I submit the DS-230 for the immigrant visa) or if that would be irrelevant? Moreover, I understand that in the k3 process, I would have to pay an NSO document verification fee. When I submit the documents to the US embassy prior to my k3 interview, should I include the supplemental report for the place of birth? I'm afraid that if I don't, my documents might be rejected, even if it's on NSO security paper. Thank you so much!
