Hi all. Our petition was lost before and sent another one to Vermont Office the other day. They better not to lose it this time.

I noticed some people mentioned they received email notification before receivng a hard copy. Does it apply to anyone who put an email address on I-129F?

No, you sign up for an account on USCIS.gov and enter in your case number (the one on the back of the check that is cashed or you can get it from your NOA1) Then you can check the status online of your petition.

Best of luck :)

Once you receive your NOA1, you can set up an account on the USCIS website.

The way I did it was- I saw they cashed my check and was able to see the number on the back of the check to create an account on the USCIS website. That way, you should get an email once your petition has been approved. I think that's what you've heard people talking about...

And how do we get NOA1?

The NOA 1 is sent to you by the service center telling you they've received your pkg. As stated above, you can get the case number off the back of the check as well and enter it on the USCIS website to track your status. :)
