morning guys sure hope today is not as hot as yesterday was here it was over 100 no breeze wow was really bad

Estadia... you haven't gone to bed yet either??? Love the great weather we're getting as long as I am inside an A/C building lol... take care and stay coool :thumbs:

sleep lol what is that lol.....we dont have a/c lol so we were enjoying some of the cooler weather our night time lol....

Morning MENA peeps!!! Its been awhile since I posted, but all is well with me and hubby. Sounds like the same old stuff going on here...lol. We are starting our AOS, so any advise is appreciated. Have a great day everyone.

Our timeline:

September 29, 2005.......met online.

October and November 2006......was in Egypt with my sweetie.

November 1, 2006......We were married.

December 2006........I-130 filed

January 2007...........I-129 filed

April 2007................I-130 and I-129 approved

June 14, 2007.........Visa interview completed

December 2, 2007.....Home interview

February 12, 2008........Second interview

February 26, 2008....I was called by the embassy and was given a short interview over the phone and was told that my case will be moved forward and someone would contact my husband soon to send in his passport.

March 2, 2008......My husband was contacted by the embassy to send in his passport.

March 3, 2008......Passport sent by DHL.

March 4, 2008......Embassy received the passport.

March 18, 2008......VISA IN HAND!!! YEAH!!

August 15, 2008....filed I-485 adjustment of Status and I-765...Employment Authorization

October 14, 2008.....I-765...Employment Authorization approved, card received 1 month later.

January 15, 2009......Adjustment of Status interview for green card...approved!!! Received green card two weeks later.

Happy Sunday, I hope everyone has a great day!

we were thinking about going swimming but the air here in central California is so bad from the wildfires that the local news is advising people to stay indoors and keep your pets indoors. yesterday morning when we got up it looked like fog outside from the smoke, its a little better today but still, yikes! so I guess we will find some indoor activities to keep us busy today :P

I'm guessing that being a good muslim is being a good example to those around you. If this is your example of being a good muslim, I don't want any part of it. Is it a muslim duty to harass and mock those around you? There are ways to make your point if that is what you feel you need to do but this isn't it. There is something much more going on here.

Yessssssss I stayed at work off the clock cause it was so hot and had A/C and waited for the sun to go down so I can enjoy being not so hot... we're not used to this weather. Not sure what I am going to do today off day you know? The kids should get out but the beach I like to take them too isn't open yet :unsure: why???? cause they don't open until after the 4th.... I believe that is when our summer ends lol

Like you really care. Your hubby approves of women oogling him, and Allah knows what's in your heart, so you don't have to listen to anyone else anyway. So much appreciation I got from you, being an expert and all. It's been damned if I do, and damned if I don't as a Muslima here, so stuff it. We're all about having FUN and staying light, remember? So, get with the program.

wow a closed beach?

here in oregon the beach is open almost always even when it snowed this year lol.........its already getting up there and starting to get almost uncomfortable and its soooo early .......... we are not settiing the pool up for us until after we return from calf cuz it will be GREEN if we do nobody to take care of it lol anyways sounds to me like a great day to pack a picnic and go to a river that is not too deep and just enjoy and try to stay as comfortable as possible lol
