Hi, my 2 daughters appointment for Biometrics is on July 11, 2008 and I just received my appointment date today in the mail and it is on July 10, 2008. Is it normal that we get separate appointment dates? I filed I-751 and my 2 daughters were under that petition. I wonder if they will allow us to go together. Anyone have any experience like this?

While I don't have personal experience about this I have read of others in similar situations. They have chosen to have all of the biometric applicants go in at the earlier appointment together, bringing their individual letters, and asking if it is possible to have all of them done at the same time. Others have had success doing this, so it is certainly worth a try for you. The best that can happen is that they say yes and accommodate the three of you on the 10th; the worst is that they say no, and you do yours on the 10th and you have to go back and do your daughters on the 11th. Give it a try, and good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

As Kathryn41 said it would not hurt to come all together on 10th and try. But Chicago might be a busy office. I would try early on July 9th. It is Wen-a day when they should assept walk-ins.

Thanks for the replies! I'm sorry russian_armenian for the confusion, my local office is Las Vegas and not Chicago. I guess I made a mistake on my thingy of the left saying something about Chicago, I'll try to fix that . . . anyway, I guess we'll do that - go together on the 10th and take it from there. Thanks again!
