Another reason I can't have more kids

That was already suggested, but since my in-laws threw down $1000 dollars for this trip mostly just to see their granddaughter, I don't think that is possible and 2 year olds can't fly alone last I checked.

Find someone who wants a free trip to Germany. Send them with the kid, with instructions to meet your inlaws at the airport to make the transfer and arrange a pickup time for the return trip.

I was just bitching about flying being more expensive than I had thought. The last time I bought tickets, it was $1200 for the three of us. It was just a sticker shock to see 2-3k all the sudden for the same trip two years later. I already sucked it up and bought the tickets months ago. I am not sure why this thread was dragged back up.

Just rent a private plane so you don't annoy people. I want to shoot parents who let their kids scream and throw a tantrum. They ruin the flight for everyone.

Amen. No one under age 10 should be permitted on a commercial flight, without the consent of everyone else on that plane - unless they're willing to fly in cargo with the cats and dogs.

I can guarantee you that if there is some crying #### machine sitting next to me and making me feel miserable, I am going to do everything possible to make its owner want to relocate the both of them somewhere else.

Serious question. Would it be horrible to give Junior a little benadryl or something to help him sleep through the flight? Would that be a bad thing?

Screw the benadryl. Duct tape does wonders.

That's awesome. After putting it in the cage, put it in cargo for the flight. Problem solved.

Here's the real problem. People shouldn't take a baby on an international flight.

Or any other flight with non family members.

Babies have died from being given benadryl or any other cold medicine.

Definitely fixes the noise problem.
