You need to call and speak to an operator and ask them to tell you what is missing or what is theproblem. You do not need to wait for the letter. They keep track of your calls/conversation on their computer system. Operators have been nice but not always helpful. I had same problem with NVC (about our marriage certificate) and I'm still waiting to hear if new one I sent is ok.

I agree with the previous poster - give them a call and ask them what the request is for, then you can get the required document or information they are asking for.

Don't worry about it too much

thank you guys for the support, i just hope for the best. enough is enough with this process it's taking a tall on my personal life .

The process takes a toll on the lives of most people, unfortunately. It looks like you did not provide evidence from your bank, showing current balance of checking acct. and the total deposited over the last 12 months. Such evidence is in the form of a brief letter signed by a bank officer. Good luck.

Possibly going off-topic here, but have you already submitted your IV bill $400 and/or have you submitted your DS-230 yet? I received the same information when I called after submitting my I-864 and all that they were waiting for was my IV bill and my DS-230 to paid (even though they are completely seperate from each other). It could possibly be a false RFE if that's the case for you as well. As the others suggested, you should definitely give NVC a call. :)

We called NVC back while waiting for the letter that they said they had sent. A lady there said that we could download DS 230 P1&2,filed them and all documents neeeded , enclosed with a barcodesheet then sent back to NVC. So we used this barcode sheet and changed ATTN:from DR to CMR with black ink and our case was completed last week.Hope this can help you.Good luck.

salamat, my gut feeling (99%) is NVC is waiting for your IV fee payment and DS-230 submission - those are more documentation. I had same response after I-864, so don't worry. Pay them and send IV package as soon as possible.

That's exactly what I was thinking ... see post above. Hope two voices with the same opinion might help...
