Where it asks USCIS Status what do you put? My husband is on a K-1 Visa - is that the answer? The next question is "Expires on" - is that the date his visa expires? Also is the visa number the red number towards the bottom of the visa or is it the "Control Number" ?

We put:

Current USCIS Status: K1

Expires on (date of VISA (not I-94) expiration - 6 months after visa issue date) *don't know if that's right for sure

The visa number is the red number.

We haven't gotten any RFE's for the actual I-485 form, so I think this is right. I would double check the "expires on."

June 1, 2007: GC arrived! Yippy! USCIS Free for 2 years!
2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

Yeah I did the same. Just put the expiration date that is reported on the Visa

Status is K1.

Expiration is when the status expires, not when the visa expires. Find the date on the I-94.

Either the red number or the Control Number can be given for the visa number.
